Accessibility approach
The interface uses semantic controls, visible focus states, scalable text, responsive layouts, keyboard-operable route controls where practical, alt text for images and reduced-motion handling. Route panels and destination lists use dedicated scroll regions designed for touch and keyboard use.
Known limitations
Interactive maps and third-party map tiles can be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. Some historical image captions or third-party source content may not yet have complete descriptions. The project is continuously being improved.
